The team of partners at the NOVE law firm has expanded – it was decided to promote attorney-at-law Mart Parind to the firm’s ownership group.
According to NOVE’s co-founder Kristjan Tamm, the addition of Mart Parind to the partnership marks a new era and breath of fresh air in NOVE’s development story. “Mart’s becoming a partner is significant, primarily because it marks a new generation’s breakthrough into the management of the firm. At 33 years old, Mart is among the rising stars of the Estonian legal scene, the first of whom are taking leading positions in the market. NOVE’s existing partners are excited to integrate the skills and vision of this courageous and highly proven top specialist into the day-to-day management of the firm,” comments Tamm.
Mart Parind sees being made a partner as a stopover on a journey that is just beginning. “Of course, I am extremely pleased that the NOVE’s management has rewarded my hard work in this way, but I feel that the real journey is just beginning. The responsibility associated with managing a law firm that aims to be the absolute top of the Estonian legal market in its fields is not an easy one. Mart Parind joined NOVE in 2022 from his position as a judge at the Public Procurement Review Committee. He also leads the firm’s public procurement practice at NOVE, which has risen to the top of the market. In addition, as one of Estonia’s best-known and most respected sports lawyers and a recognized advisor on European Union issues, Mart also leads NOVE’s sports and European law practices.
