For the purpose\nof supplying Puiga with heat, the existing boiler house will be connected to\nthe Danpower V\u00f5rusoo control center, which will allow to control the boiler\nhouse from V\u00f5ru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSince Puiga is\nlocated near V\u00f5ru, the heat supply to Puiga fits well with the Danpower group\nbecause we have been in V\u00f5ru for a long time. We are pleased to offer high\nquality district heating services to Puiga residents now,\u201d explains Markus\nS\u00fc\u00dfmann, member of the board of Danpower Eesti AS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Danpower specialists\nhave over 20 years of experience in supplying heat to the city of V\u00f5ru. From\nnow on, the company will start using its experience and skills also in Puiga.\nDanpower&#8217;s goal is to provide heat to people and businesses in Puiga. During\nthe first year, it is planned to get to know the peculiarities of heat supply\nin the village of Puiga in order to make more specific development plans for\nthe future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Danpower Eesti AS\nbelongs to Danpower group, which is one of Germany&#8217;s leading energy producers. The\ncompany, headquartered in Potsdam, employs more than 400 people and belongs to\nenergy group enercity AG. Danpower contributes to future-oriented and\nsustainable heat production by using the latest technologies and\nresource-efficient energy sources such as biogas, wood pellets and waste for\nheat production. About 77% of heat and 99% of electricity comes from renewable\nenergy sources. Danpower offers customized energy solutions for private,\npublic, and industrial customers ranging from technical equipment planning to\nconsumer data collection and billing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Advising the transaction on behalf of NOVE involved conducting a legal due diligence of the district heating network as a technical facility and land plots, and drafting the transaction structure and documentation. The transaction was advised by NOVE\u2019s attorney-at-law <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nove.ee\/en\/team\/heili-puumann\/\">Heili P\u00fc\u00fcmann<\/a> and partner Urmas Volens.
