Attorney Triin Tiru advises clients mainly in transactions with real estate and in the field of mergers and acquisitions. Triin gives advice to clients in questions that arise in their day-to-day business concerning real estate law and business law and drafts agreements in these fields of law.
Before joining NOVE Triin worked at law firm Ellex Raidla where her practice areas were real estate, agreements and mergers & acquisitions. Triin has advised clients in significant real estate transactions from the buyer’s and from the seller’s side and has given legal advice, for example, in transactions of sales-purchases of shopping malls, in financing the development and construction of a shopping mall, in the purchase of a logistics centre and in the sales of office buildings. In addition, Triin has comprehensive experience in lease agreements concerning commercial real estate (lease agreements of office buildings, lease agreements of business premises located in shopping malls, but also residential lease agreements). In law firm Ellex Raidla Triin was also thoroughly involved in conducting legal due diligences where she concentrated mainly on analysing the target’s real estate and environmental issues (incl. building law and planning law matters) and on regulative matters of the field of business where the respective company operates.
Since 2016 Triin has instructed contract law seminars in University of Tartu and participated in teaching a course that concentrates on mergers and acquisitions of companies. Further, Triin, as an assistant-expert, belongs to the workgroup that revises the Estonian commercial code to prepare new draft and explanatory note of the commercial code.
During her studies at the university Triin gained experience from internships at Tallinn Circuit Court, Police and Border Guard Board, law firm Ellex Raidla, law firm Lillo & Lõhmus, law firm SORAINEN and Swedbank AS.
